October brings our largest update yet. The focus of this update is not just the User Interface, making it easier to navigate, but also additions to energy, DC capacity, and equipment. We have also updated the BESS modeling to consider not only the potential BESS sizes and grid limits but also the energy pricing. As you are iterating across the design space there are additional options creating both equipment and energy.

The menu now provides direct access to Site, Sweep, Costs, and Optimize. In Sweep, PV module and inverter catalogs are available from their respective selectors.
The site panel now contains the Area (boundaries), Meteo Data and Energy Pricing.
You can now select hourly energy pricing to use in the optimization options. Currently select from 3 different options for pricing.
In your scenarios you can now select the Max DC solver option. This allows for additional flexibility related to tracker location and block shape.

New Equipment Configuration
The equipment management is now handled inside the equipment selection. When working with different equipment just select the catalog and you will be able to add/modify/edit any equipment you would like to use in your simulations.
